BF-frontier

BF-Frontier is an inline AOI with CE marking which is suitable for LL size board inspection. Further improvement in table scan system of PlanetX is employed. The faster camera system with B-MLT as well as the optimization of program sequence achieved the world fastest performance which allowed a motherboard of A4 laptop PC to be inspected within 25 seconds. 40mm clearance on top is suitable for inspection of large components on motherboard. It also employs various functions such as new OCR to recognize alphabetic code characters, 2D barcode recognition, build-in marking function, and CE marking.

Line Scan Technology

It employs Line Scan Technology which enabled the ultra fast scanning. The moving table structure allows a compact body of only 850mm of the machine width to take LL size board. Additionally, the movement of board is quiet and smooth so that it is also suitable for the optical inspection of pre-reflow or after mounting chips when the components are not fixed on the board.


Optical and Imaging

To achieve single vision to capture whole image of a large board without distortion, 2 sets of largest Telecentric Lens Optical is developed. Each LEDs, green blue and white employes approximately 2000 to make a Lighting unit which allow LEDs to light partially. Multi scan allows multiple images to be captured by a simple operation. Furthermore, luminance of each pixel of CCD and lens aberration will be calibrated by digital shading and image calibration to achieve compatibility of data with higher result in repeatability.
